Donation Information

In 2007, two young children were found sleeping outside the city market in the high mountain city of Ayacucho, Peru. The children were eating little bits of rotting fruits and vegetables that were swept out of the market every morning. But looking at the children, it was easy to see that they were suffering from severe starvation and could soon die.

When it was discovered that the children were abandoned orphans, the directors of the local orphanage were touched by their story. Even though there wasn't enough money to support two more orphans, they took them in anyway and gave them a home. A home that provided the two orphans a bed, clothing, hot food every day, encouragement, and an abundance of heart-felt love.

Whether it's to help orphans like these in Ayacucho, or the abandoned children of prostitutes in the Dominican Republic, or young victims orphaned by a tsunami in India, your donations enable us to feed thousands of orphans every day. Orphans that sometimes have gone days without any food.

I personally want to thank you for caring about the needs of millions of starving orphans and making a donation which is greatly appreciated. Food for Orphans is a 501(c)3 organization and your donations are tax deductible. May God bless you abundantly.
