Born From One Life-Changing Moment
Gary VanDyke, founder and visionary behind Food for Orphans, began his journey to serve vulnerable children in 1999. As a father of five, Gary had always carried a deep burden for the needs of children — but his life was forever changed after visiting some of the poorest slums in Lima, Peru.
Invited by a global children’s charity to witness their projects firsthand, Gary saw unimaginable suffering among orphaned and abandoned children.
